OUR STORY

Founded in 2015, DOCH Pvt. Ltd. began with a simple yet powerful vision: to preserve the centuries-old art of Balochi hand embroidery while creating sustainable economic opportunities for the women who carry this remarkable heritage forward.

Founded by Ms. Deedar Mengal and Saddam Ali Qazi, DOCH has grown from a local initiative into a purpose-driven social enterprise connecting traditional craftsmanship with contemporary markets. Through training, product development, market access, and entrepreneurship opportunities, DOCH works alongside women artisans to transform their skills into sustainable livelihoods.

Today, our network extends across seven business centers in Balochistan, bringing together skilled women artisans whose craftsmanship reflects the culture, identity, and stories of the region. Every DOCH creation is more than a handmade product—it represents heritage, creativity, dignity, and economic empowerment.

Our journey is strengthened by our sister organization, Destination Educational & Development Society (DEDS), a development organization working to create opportunities for communities through capacity building, entrepreneurship development, education, women’s empowerment, and social development initiatives. Together, DOCH and DEDS bridge social impact with enterprise, helping individuals develop skills, access opportunities, and build more sustainable futures.
